  • Academics

    The Foundations of Learning curriculum is an extension of our philosophy shaping every facet of the New Hampton School experience. New Hampton provides the necessary rigor and support for each individual student with offerings in the International Baccalaureate, Advanced Placement, and Academic Support.


  • Athletics

    Interscholastic teams include: alpine skiing, baseball, basketball, cross country, equestrian, field hockey, football, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, mountain biking, rock climbing, snowboarding, soccer, softball, and tennis.
  • Arts

    An extraordinary array of courses in the visual, digital, and performing arts including comedic improv, environmental art, animation, graphic design, ceramics, media production, 2D and 3D design, photography, contemporary music ensemble, and more. 

Setting

340 beautiful acres in the village of New Hampton, nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains; 30 miles north of Concord, New Hampshire, and near the cities of Boston, Massachusetts and Portland, Maine.

Twelve residential houses, state of the art classrooms and science laboratories, three computer labs, research center, library, arts and athletics complex. Photography labs, theater, studios for the arts (dance, music, and media production), climbing wall, five athletic fields, 9 tennis courts, hockey rink, ski and snowboard center, two ponds, and a 325-acre mountain area for outdoor recreation.

  • College Process

    Highly individualized college counseling process: our senior class of over 100 students will matriculate to more than 85 different colleges and universities. From small liberal arts colleges to large urban universities.
  • Cross-Cultural Learning

    Embracing the New England boarding experience and nurturing multifaceted talents of each student, athlete, artist, and aspiring leader, this vibrant school provides ample opportunities for global and cross-cultural learning on a daily basis.
  • Student Engagement

    New Hampton School students remain engaged with the community through Project Week and experiential education offerings; service learning; student leadership opportunities; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives; and a wide array of student-led groups and clubs.
