Day Students

Everything But the Bed

At New Hampton School, day students are fully part of our close-knit community. While they return home each evening, they actively participate in campus events and activities, often joining special programs on weekends. Day students can enjoy three meals a day in our dining hall, making it easy to stay connected and engaged throughout the day. Whether in the classroom, on the field, or at evening events, day students experience the same sense of community, opportunity, and belonging that defines life at New Hampton.

A House for All

The Day Student Affiliate Program gives each day student a “home away from home” in a residential house. It’s the perfect spot to hang out between classes, stash backpacks, or change for sports and activities. Day students also get to join house events, cheer on teammates, and dive into the fun traditions that make New Hampton so special. This program ensures day students are always part of the action and fully connected to the campus community.

NEW! Morning Bus Service

Getting to campus just got easier for day students! Our new morning bus picks up in Concord at the L.L. Bean parking lot and makes an additional stop at Tilton’s Tanger Outlets, delivering students to campus in plenty of time for classes. This convenient service gives day students a stress-free start to the day, letting them relax, catch up with friends, or review for class while on the way. It’s a simple, reliable way to make the daily commute smooth and convenient.

Drivers Ed for NH Residents

New Hampton School makes it easy for students to get behind the wheel with our on-campus Driver’s Education program. Taught by certified instructors, the program combines classroom instruction with hands-on driving experience, all conveniently scheduled around the school day. Students gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to become safe, responsible drivers.

New Hampshire Grants for Tuition

New Hampshire’s Educational Freedom Account (EFA) program now offers state-funded grants for tuition at independent schools—making a New Hampton School education easier to access than ever. These funds open the door to outstanding academics, arts, athletics, and a supportive community. Combined with financial aid, a transformative education is truly within reach.
