Welcome to the Parents Association

The Parents Association

The purpose of the Parents Association is to engage parents in the life of New Hampton School. The Parents Association offers on- and off-campus programming, activities, and social opportunities for parents, in order to strengthen and support Husky Nation. All parents and guardians of current students and alumni/ae of the school are members of the Parents Association.
Dear NHS Parents and Guardians,

Welcome! Your family has joined an exceptional teaching and learning community, one that nurtures the growth of each individual, while also encouraging students to develop a sense of respect and responsibility for others. Our New Hampton School Parents Association is an extension of that cooperative spirit, and we seek to provide meaningful opportunities for parents to engage in the life of the school.

New Hampton has been a place for our children to become thoughtful, self-reliant young adults, and we have been happy to meet and work with other New Hampton families who are on a similar journey. Whether your child will be here for one year or four, we hope that you will have an experience that is just as rewarding as ours has been!

When you have questions or ideas, please reach out to either of us via the NHS Advancement office. We look forward to getting to know you!

With best wishes for a successful school year,

Ways to Be Involved

Team or Program Parents: coordinate celebratory meals after athletic events or at the end of a sports season or artistic production.

Parent Agents:
make calls and send emails to promote the The Fund for New Hampton and the financial well-being of the school.

Parent Ambassadors: support the work of the Admission office by promoting the school through conversations with other parents at admissions events or hosting prospective parent receptions.

Parent Class Reps: are knowledgeable about how the school operates and can point other parents in their students' class to the school personnel who can help when the occasional question arises.

Build your own volunteer experience: brainstorm and coordinate a project week trip, guest lecture in the classroom, offer work experience to students or young alumni/ae or volunteer at the annual Exam Bake.

Don't Miss a Moment

We update our Flickr account throughout the week with pictures of our student's adventures. In the classroom, the art studio or on the fields, we don't want you to miss a moment.
