Skills for Athletes and People

  • Soccer Men's-JVA

    2024 - 2025
    Head Coach: Kristin McClure

The New Hampton Soccer program holds the belief that our main responsibility is to help in the growth of student-athletes. We believe that our primary responsibility is to help our students become better people, citizens, and students through their athletic endeavors. Citizenship skills are developed by focusing on responsibility, teamwork, discipline, self-respect, self-control, and pride. All of these aspects of character can be learned alongside the proper skills necessary for players becoming the best athletes possible.

The New Hampton soccer program does not believe in the win-at-all-costs mentality. We cannot always win, but we can always be winners. We believe our job is to help our student athletes become winners. Success is not reflected on the scoreboard at the end of the match. Success is demonstrated by the hard work, honesty, and desire the athletes put forward in making themselves better.

Our Men's Junior Varsity A Team is here to develop the skills held by a soccer player and teach them new ones.  The team consists of new and returning athletes over a wide range of levels.  The team travels around the Lakes Region and beyond to compete against similarly skilled opponents.
