  Connor Gorman brings his many years of hockey experience as the head coach of the New Hampton School Men’s Hockey team. Gorman is a former prep, NCAA, and professional hockey player. Under Gorman’s leadership since 2019, his teams have been tough to play against by competing with high energy, toughness, skill, and teamwork.  

     

  Gorman has assisted in the development of many current Division I and III players. He has experience navigating the junior hockey landscape, specifically drafts and tenders in the USHL, NAHL, BCHL, NCDC, CCHL, and EHL. In the summer months, Gorman works for USA Hockey as a coach and evaluator for the New England District and has also worked with the college programs assisting with their on ice development. 

    

  Gorman competed at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh during his NCAA playing career. At Plattsburgh, Gorman played in over 100 games, helped capture a SUNYAC Championship his junior year, and was a two-time All-Conference and All-Academic selection. At the conclusion of his senior year, Gorman was the recipient of the Senior Athlete Achievement Award, which is given to athletes who demonstrate excellence in athletic performance, leadership, and sportsmanship. Gorman was also a long-stick midfielder on the NCAA Plattsburgh lacrosse team.  
   
  Following his graduation, Gorman played two years of professional hockey with the Peoria Rivermen of the Southern Professional Hockey League. He finished his career with 90 points in 115 professional games.
