  • I worked at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC; the oldest private art museum in the District now part of the National Gallery.
  • I was once neighbors with legendary actor Robert Duval.

  • Initial educational training and career path was in the health care industry.
  • Worked at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC at the same time that legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano was coaching there.
  • Proud mom of two sons who were both four-year students and NHS graduates, one in 2001 and the other in 2005.

  • Graduated from New Hampton School in 1990. Loved Psychology class with Mr. Tilton!
  • Truly enjoy connecting with former classmates, teachers and staff.

  • I wrote my first book in sixth grade. 
  • I was a girl scout from Brownies all the way through Campus Girl Scouts.
  • I have a tendency to adopt animals that are lost causes, or rescue them from the side of the road.

3 Interesting Facts About Me:
  • I served for 27 years in the United States Air Force. I attained the rank of Master Sergeant before I was commissioned and retired 10 years later as a Major.
  • I’ve visited 46 of the 50 states in the USA and at least 11 different countries (boots on the ground--airports don’t count).
  • I hiked the Appalachian Trail for two weeks as a young adult.

  • I received a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology in 2012, and am currently working on my Master of Science in Organizational Leadership.
  • I worked in higher education for about six years prior to my time with New Hampton School.
  • I currently live in Webster, New Hampshire with my fiance, Matt, and dog, Luna, who is a sweet and fluffy Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix.
