  • I share a birthday with my daughter, Annie, as well as Head of School Joe Williams and beloved NHS crew member Dana Bates.
  • I worked at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, DC; the oldest private art museum in the District now part of the National Gallery.
  • I was once neighbors with legendary actor Robert Duval.

  • My brother-in-law was my roommate while attending New Hampton School.
  • My wife is a two-time Olympian snowboarder.

Ben Larkin

My role at NHS: Major Gift Officer

3 Interesting Facts About Me:
  • I have seen the sun rise from the top of Mount Fuji and the sun set over the pyramids in Cairo.
  • When I lived in the Upper West Side of New York City – in a very small apartment with three roommates - I was able to watch the floats being assembled and inflated late in the night before the Thanksgiving Day parade.
  • Early in my career, I worked in the Public Affairs Office for the Central Intelligence Agency.

 

 

Katie Wardrop

My role at NHS: Director of Alumni Relations

3 Interesting Facts About Me:
  • I have been to the Olympics, a World Cup match, and the March Madness tournament.
  • I am a Duke Blue Devils basketball super fan!
  • I have played in a NEPSAC championship game and have coached in a NEPSAC championship game.

  • Graduated from New Hampton School in 1990. Loved Psychology class with Mr. Tilton!
  • Truly enjoy connecting with former classmates, teachers and staff. 
  • Love being part of the NHS community and being back in Berry Hall (my former dorm when I attended school here!)

Jacqueline Truesdale

Hometown: Hard to say! I was raised in an Army family, and later I became a diplomat's wife. So I've called many places Home.
 
My role at NHS: Parent Relations Coordinator

3 Interesting Facts About Me:
  • I've lived in ten of the United States of America, as well as Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, and Austria.
  • I love living in the Granite State: fall foliage, town meetings, and can-do Yankee spirit!
  • My husband and I have our own Husky pack: all four of our children have graduated from or currently attend New Hampton School.

Meriellen Joga

Years at NHS: 5th Year

Hometown: Salisbury, New Hampshire
 
My role at NHS: Donor Database Manager 
 
3 Interesting Facts About Me:
  • I served in the United States Air Force for 27 years, attaining the rank of Master Sergeant before becoming a commissioned officer. Twelve years later I retired as a major. My son continues the tradition with 7 years enlisted time, also in the USAF.  He’ll be commissioned as a lieutenant in December 2019 and will go on to attend pilot training at some as yet undisclosed location.
  • I’ve had boots on the ground (airports don’t count) in 49 of the 50 states in the USA and at least 12 different countries. It’s time to take a cruise to Alaska.
  • I hiked the Appalachian Trail for two weeks as a young adult.

Katherine Lee

My role at NHS: Administrative Assistant to Advancement & Communications
 
3 Interesting Facts about Me:
  • Prior to earning my Master of Science in Organizational Leadership, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology and had the unique opportunity to study black bears in their natural habitat during my senior year.
  • I worked in the financial aid sector of higher education for about six years prior to my time with New Hampton School.
  • I currently live in Webster, New Hampshire with my husband, Matt, and our rescue dog, Luna, who is a sweet Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix.

  • Initial educational training and career path was in the health care industry.
  • Worked at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC at the same time that legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano was coaching there.
  • Proud mom of two sons who were both four-year students and NHS graduates, one in 2001 and the other in 2005.
