Strong, fast runs from Slaton Fenci, Mason Howe, Alexa Mailloux, and Ben DiGrande result in a team third place finish in 2nd Giant Slalom race of the year.
Alexa continues to be a speedy rider during the Giant Slalom Races this year. She placed 3rd overall out of 11 total riders.

This was Mason Howe's first competition of the year and he placed 12th overall out of 52 total riders.

Slaton Fenci and Ben DiGrande were close behind, with Benjamin finishing in 14th and Slaton finishing in 15th.

Ray Aley slipped out on his first run and lost significant seconds, but battled back and had a much better second run for the day. He placed 32nd overall.

Out of 9 total teams, NHS placed 3rd overall for the day. Considering the hard, cold, icy conditions today, everyone seemed satisfied with the results. The team is looking forward to a slopestyle competition next week at Mt. Sunapee.
