The Huskies traveled to Cardigan Mountain School for the annual CMS Jamboree, which includes three 30-minute friendly matches. Match 1: NHS vs KUA 1 Things kicked off with a very difficult match-up against KUA's JV1 squad. Despite the challenge, the Huskies played hard and had their share of positive moments. KUA's pressure and athleticism was a bit too much to overcome for the young NHS squad, but the boys represented well. Match 2: NHS vs Holderness The second match-up of the day saw a more evenly-matched game against Holderness. While both teams had multiple opportunities at the goal, it was the Bulls who were able to capitalize and find the back of the net. Match 3: NHS vs CMS 2 Despite NHS having a notable size advantage, the skill and competitive spirit of the young CMS 2 squad led to a very fun match. CMS's passing and positioning led to several scoring opportunities on former-Cougar Joseph McClure '29 who made all but one save throughout the game. Luckily, a powerful shot on the move from Sam Gilman '28 tied the game up with short minutes leading to a 1-1 tie.
