New Hampton Loses on the Road

The Huskies made the trip to Brewster Academy for a rematch of last week's game. The two sides would play a back and forth first half that would see chances go either way before Brewster would get on the board off of a corner with two minutes left in the half. 
The two teams would come back out for the second half and play another tightly contested frame in the home and away series. Audra Custance would come closest to leveling the score for the Huskies as she would get around her defender before her shot found the underside of the crossbar but would not make its way over the line. 
The New Hampton defense played another strong game, limiting their opponents looks on goal while the midfield did well to contain the passing attack of the hosts.
New Hampton is back on the road on Saturday for their first matchup of the year with Kimball Union.
