What an incredible turnaround for our Huskies in just four days! Against Holderness today, the team showed exactly what it means to play true team soccer, and the coaching staff could not be prouder.
From the opening whistle, we demonstrated composure, grit, and discipline. We stayed compact defensively, worked together to maintain our shape, and made the simple passes to keep possession and let the ball do the work. In every sense, we looked like a cohesive program ready to take on tough competition.
Our defensive unit—Trey, Jackson, Malcolm, Sean, and Mason—was outstanding, staying organized and shutting down threats with poise and composure. Captains Griffin, Noah, and Trey once again led by example, providing steady leadership throughout the match. Dani put us ahead early with a well-taken first-half goal, and the team battled to hold that lead. With just seven minutes left, Patrick sealed the game with a decisive goal that capped off a fantastic team performance.
Even in difficult moments, our players carried themselves with class and resilience. The growth from our opening match against Brooks to today’s victory is a testament to their hard work, adaptability, and commitment. If we continue to improve at this pace, the Huskies will surely be a team to reckon with this season.
