New Opponent for MJVA

The New Hampton JV boys soccer team opened their season with a close 2–1 loss to the Dublin School in a hard-fought match that came down to the final minutes.

Jakobi gave New Hampton the early momentum, finding the back of the net with a well-placed shot in the first half. The team maintained strong defensive organization and created several promising chances throughout the game.

Unfortunately, a late penalty in the closing minutes gave Dublin the opportunity to take the lead, and they converted from the spot to secure the win. Despite the tough finish, New Hampton showed impressive effort, composure, and teamwork for their first match of the season. The boys will look to build on this strong performance as they prepare for their next game.
