New Hampton Defeats Roxbury Latin 13 - 10

Huskies continue their winning ways as they battled to defeat a tough Roxbury Latin School. It was a back-and-forth battle for the entire game. New Hampton gained a 7-3 lead following a 38-yard touchdown run by Anthony Brathwaite; his first of the season. RL regained the lead after returning an interception before the half. Both teams' defenses battled for the remainder of the game. It was a long 4th quarter drive by the Huskies, that led to the game-winning touchdown run by Chase Cortemanche. Seamus McIntyre, Sawyer Johnson and Dante Tordiglione led the Huskies on defense, holding RL to only 125 total yards, including a huge goal-line stand in the first quarter. New Hampton is now 2 - 3 on the season and return for their final home game next Saturday against Kingswood Oxford School.
