New Hampton places third in the Lakes Region Championship!

The New Hampton XC team's grit, athleticism, and achievements were all reflected in their performance at the Lakes Region Championships at Holderness. Michaela and Sage did not compete because our girls' team required three athletes to qualify. Nonetheless, they cheered the loudest and were joined by Coach Corselli and the women's basketball team. The boys truly appreciated and were energized by their first and only cross-country fan bus! The Holderness course was challenging, and the competition was fast, but our runners persevered and were met with impressive results. Although in that race New Hampton placed fifth, the boys' team secured third overall in the Lakes Region thanks to their strong season! At Holderness, Jackson Chadwick finished 16th at 20:03.5, Jake Newman came in 18th at 20:09, Lucas Gangi placed 31 at 20:46.5, and Cameron Danchak was 50th at 22 minutes! The rest of the team put forth great effort and enjoyed their last race in the Lakes Region. One more competition lies ahead this season. The team's success qualified them for the NEPSTA Division IV Championship Meet hosted by Kents Hill in Augusta, Maine!
