Huskies fall to the Bulls

The New Hampton School Men’s JV B Basketball team hosted Holderness on Wednesday afternoon in the final game of the season, falling 57–22. While the scoreboard favored Holderness, the evening was centered on celebration, reflection, and gratitude as the team honored its seniors on Senior Night — Jerry Jiang and team manager Max Brown, who suited up for the game. Jerry made the most of his final appearance in a New Hampton uniform. In the first half, he scored three points and went one for five from the free-throw line. In the second half, he closed out his Men’s JV B Basketball career in memorable fashion, knocking down two three-point shots and adding a two-point basket. It was a strong and fitting finish to his time with the program.

Steven contributed steadily throughout the game, scoring a two-point basket and a three-pointer in the first half. After halftime, he added another three-point shot and went one for two from the free-throw line. Marek battled hard inside, fighting for rebounds and opportunities at the line in the first half, and added a two-point basket in the second half. The boys played hard, defended, and competed while maintaining control and composure throughout.
More importantly, this game marked the close of a season filled with growth, hard work, laughter, and lasting memories. The coaching staff is incredibly proud of the commitment and effort the players showed all season long. From Senior Night celebrations to the daily work in practice, this group represented the program with heart and character.
