The New Hampton School Men’sJV B Basketball team traveled to Dublin School on Saturday afternoon and fell by a final score of 47–11.
New Hampton struggled to find its rhythm early and trailed 19–3 at halftime. Levi accounted for the team’s first-half scoring with a three-point shot. Despite the slow start, New Hampton remained disciplined defensively, committing just one team foul in the opening half, while Dublin did not record a foul.
The second half showed improvement in energy and execution. Levi continued to lead offensively, knocking down another three-pointer and adding a two-point basket. Steven contributed three points, converting a two-point shot and going one for two from the free-throw line. The team demonstrated better ball movement on offense, worked harder to get back in transition defense, and showed more effort on the boards.
Although the final score favored Dublin School, the second-half performance reflected growth and increased intensity. After another slow start, the team responded with improved movement, defensive recovery, and rebounding effort — positive steps the coaches will look to build on moving forward.
