Huskies Come up Short in Final Game of the Season

The Huskies traveled south for a Lakes Region showdown against Tilton, closing out their season in a high-energy road contest. From the opening tip, Tilton wasted no time setting the tone. Applying relentless pressure on both ends of the floor, the home team came out firing and connected on shots from all over the court, quickly building an early advantage.

The Huskies found themselves in a hole just minutes into the first half as Tilton’s hot shooting stretched the deficit. Despite the early setback, the Huskies refused to fold in the final game of the season. They responded with increased intensity on the defensive end, creating turnovers and converting them into easy transition buckets to keep the game within reach.

The defensive spark brought renewed energy, but each time the Huskies made a push, Tilton answered. The home team continued to shoot at an impressive clip, knocking down key shots that
halted any momentum the Huskies tried to build.

Although the deficit proved too much to overcome, the Huskies’ resilience and defensive effort in the second half highlighted the fight and character that defined their season. Even in the face of adversity, they battled until the final buzzer, closing out their campaign with determination and pride.
