In their first game back from winter break, the Huskies returned to action on Mark Tilton Court to take on the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club in a fast paced and physical matchup. Both teams came out firing, trading baskets early, and setting the tone for an intense contest.
Lawrence began to seize momentum as the game went on, using aggressive full-court defense to disrupt the Huskies’ rhythm. Coupled with sharp shooting on the offensive end, the pressure proved to be too much for the Huskies to overcome as the game went on.
Despite the challenge, the Huskies were led by a strong scoring effort by Asher Senor, who poured in a game-high 29 points. Andrew Sells added 12 points, providing a steady offensive presence, while Joe Krasowski chipped in 6 points to round out the scoring.
Although the result didn't fall in their favor, the Huskies showed toughness and competitiveness in their return from break and will look to build on the performance moving forward.
