Huskies improve to 9-2 on the season with 11-0 win against Tilton School.
Huskies traveled to Tilton School on Monday and picked up their 7th win in a row with an 11-0 victory.
New Hampton School picked up another league win against Tilton School, beating them 11-0 in a mercy-rule victory.
Carter Sahagain was sharp on the mound for the Huskies. The senior right-hander pounded the strike zone all game and had a perfect game going into the 4th inning, until he surrendered a walk, to allow the first Tilton runner to reach base. Carter threw 5 complete innings, giving up 0 runs on 2 hits, while striking out 6 batters and only walking one Tilton batter.
Offensively, the Huskies scored 11 runs on 10 hits and were led by senior Griffin Taylor, who had 2 doubles that hit off the fence. Phil Groeling, Joey Krasowski, Ollie Jenkins, Keegan Hunt, and Jake Cabral all hit the ball hard all day and collected hits.
The Huskies look to keep rolling when they will travel Concord to play St. Paul's on Wednesday afternoon. First pitch is slated for 5:00 pm.
