Huskies Clinch 3 seed in NEBL Postseason

The Huskies needed to get a win to clinch a spot in the NEBL postseason. There were 3 teams at 3-3, entering the day, 1 of which being Brimmer.

 

New Hampton jumped out to an early lead, by applying pressure on the offensively class and attack in transition. We were able to also force some turnovers, which led to great offensive opportunities for us. We controlled the first half, entering half time up 38-21.

 

In the second half, New Hampton extended their lead over 20, getting 4 consecutive stops to start the half. We found a good flow on. both ends and built a comfortable lead. Brimmer started to apply some pressure defensively, and we got careless with the ball. Brimmer attacked us confidently, and cut the lead to 3 with 3 minutes to go. Out of the timeout, Jayden Harrington hit a big time 3 late in the clock. We were able to make free throws late to hold off the Brimmer comeback, 79-71. New Hampton clinched the 3 seed in next weekends NEBL Semis!
