Hill School Tops Huskies

The Huskies returned to the ice, eager to secure their first win of the tournament, facing off against Hill School. They came out strong in the first period, controlling play and creating several scoring opportunities. Despite the early pressure, Hill managed to strike first, taking the lead into the second period and putting the Huskies on their heels. However, the Huskies continued to battle. Junior Captain Emma MacPherson ’27 provided a spark, scoring the team’s lone goal, hoping to energize her teammates. However, Hill maintained control for the remainder of the game, and the Huskies were unable to find the back of the net again. The final score saw Hill take the victory 4-1. It was a hard-fought contest, with the Huskies showing flashes of skill and determination, but they struggled to find consistency on offense. The team now turns their focus to a rematch later today against Brooks School, who captured the exhibition win earlier in the season. The Huskies are still hungry for their first tournament victory and will look to regroup and make an impact on the ice.
