Huskies Kick off Lakes' Region Play with a Win Against Tilton
NEW HAMPTON --
The huskies are back at home to open their Lakes' Region regular season play against Tilton school. Tilton started the game off strong, and the huskies struggled to find their game for the first 5-8 minutes of play. However, once they found their game, they didn't let up for the next 45 minutes of game play and dominated possession and offensive zone time. Goaltender Cara Kuczek '26 played well and kept Tilton off the board, to keep the huskies in the game. The huskies had 4 different goal scorers-Emily Hachey '29, Emma Macpherson '27, Avery Lucier '29, and Lilly Thomas '25. Emily and Avery scored their first career husky goals, and Riley McKenna '29 recorded her first career point as a husky. This was a great team win, with a lot of first year players playing with the confidence the coaches knew they've had all along. The huskies have a quick turn around as they play Thayer at home at 4pm on 12/13, hoping to get on a streak before their holiday tournament.
