A depleted New Hampton squad headed north to Loon Mountain on Wednesday to take on Lakes Region foes Tilton, Berwick, White Mountain, Brewster, and host school Holderness in a league GS race. Skiing without numer 1 and 2 boys, the Huskies skied hard and notched a number of personal bests. Freshman Emily Alperin scored her best result of the year in 13th for the girls, and sophomore Luisa Gradias was 18th. Sarah Tang, who continues to gain confidence, finished 21st. Junior James Brady was the fastest New Hampton boy, finishing in 17th place, followed closely by teammate Fedor Volkov ('14) in 20th. David Musicant ('14) rounded out the team scoring in 29th. The New Hampton prep team will return to Loon for a SL next Wednesday.
