In their first game at the National Prep Showcase at Albertus Magnus in New Haven, Connecticut, the Huskies (2-0) got 20 points from Boston College-bound point guard Olivier Hanlan ’12 as they knocked off the Kiski School 86-73. Forward Noah Vonleh ’14, who missed the Huskies' opener with an injury, scored 15 points and had 19 rebounds, including 11 offensive boards. New Hampton outrebounded Kiski 46-21. Twelve players saw time for New Hampton, which led 30-25 at halftime.
Notre Dame-bound Zach Auguste ’12 and Jared Terrell ’14 added 12 points each for the Huskies, who won despite Kiski knocking down 61 percent of its three-point shots. Lew Evans ’12 added nine points and Aaron Hendricks ’12 finished with eight for New Hampton, which will finish off its pre-Thanksgiving schedule on Sunday November 20 at 1:30 pm against Blair Academy in New Haven.
