New Hampton competed in the Lakes Region Championship at Lake Sunapee Golf Course on Wednesday, May 5, battling tough wind and rain throughout the day. In difficult scoring conditions, the Huskies finished in fifth place with 82 points, just one point behind St. Paul’s, while Holderness took first place with 121 points.
The Huskies were led by Eli Arvidson, who shot a fantastic 78 and contributed 28 points. Colin Flanders added a strong round of 85 for 21 points, Drew Johnson shot 87 for 19 points, and Garrick Gao contributed 14 points with a round of 91.
It was a solid performance from New Hampton in challenging conditions and a clear reflection of the team’s growth over the course of the season. The Huskies showed toughness, improvement, and competitiveness against a strong Lakes Region field.
