New Hampton picks up another solid win against St. Paul's School 9-6 to improve to 10-2 on the season.

Great pitching and solid hitting led to another Husky league win, be defeating St. Paul's School 9-6.
The Huskies found themselves up early in this league contest against St. Paul's, and continued to put the pressure on all game long.  The offense came out swinging and found themselves with a 5-0 lead after 2 complete innings.  The Huskies continued to lead the entire game and found themselves up 9-2 going into the final inning.  Starting pitcher Keegan Hunt threw a great game and began to get tired, and Jake Cabral came in for relief to secure the victory 9-6.

Junior left-hander Keegan Hunt, threw a gem.  Keegan pounded the strike zone all game with 3 pitches and kept a solid hitting St. Paul's team off balance all game.  Keegan threw 6 complete innings allowing 6 runs on 6 hits while striking out 6 batters and only walking one batter.  Jake Cabral came in for relief and sealed the victory by throwing 1 inning and striking out 2 batters.

Offensively, Griffin Taylor continued to swing a hot bat and collected 3 more hits on the season.  Keegan Hunt helped himself at the plate by going 2 for 3 with 5 runs batted in.  The Huskies scored 9 runs on 9 hits to improve their league record to 10-2 with their 8th win in a row.

The Huskies look to close out the regular season with 2 games against Holderness School.
