Huskies score 12 runs in a mercy rule victory over league opponent Tilton School.

New Hampton School hosted the Tilton Rams on Saturday in a rainy league contest.  The Huskies did not disappoint on Senior Day and come out of the gates swinging and scored 5 runs in the 1st, 1 run in the 2nd, and 6 runs in the 3rd to blow the game open.  Offensively, the Huskies were patient at the plate and had a lot of runners on base all game.  The bright spot for the Husky offense was sophomore Matt Moreau who picked up his first and second career hits as a Husky, and senior Tommy Hughes, also picked up his first career hit as well.

Defensively, sophomore Levi Fernandez pitched great again as he picked up his fourth win of the season and improves to 4-0.  Levi pitched 5 complete innings only surrending 3 hits and didn't allow a run while striking out 5 Tilton batters.  

The Huskies improve to 8-2 on the season, and look to improve on that record on Monday when they will travel to Tilton for a rematch with the Rams.
