New Hampton takes the lead late in the game and wins another league game 4-3 against Proctor Academy.

The Huskies were able to keep their composure after trailing most of the game and fought back in the 6th inning for their 5th league win of the season.
The Huskies hosted Proctor Academy on Gnerre Field on Wednesday evening, and were able to score 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to take the lead and secure their 5th league win of the season.
Starting pitcher, Keegan Hunt threw 5 complete innings only giving up 4 hits while striking out 9 Proctor batters. Keegan threw well and kept the Huskies in the game. Carter Sahagian came in for relief and threw well. The right-hander from Marblehead, MA threw 2 complete innings while striking out 3 batters and did not give up any hits.
Offensively, the Huskies were able to score 4 runs on 6 hits and scored the eventual game winning run on a drop 3rd strike, which resulted in a passed ball and allowed a New Hampton runner to score the 4th and final run of the game. Jake Cabral had a good day at the plate going 1 for 2 on the day but was able to drive in 2 runs.
The Huskies will travel to Proctor on Friday evening for the rubber match. First pitch is slated for 5:00 at Carr Field in Andover, NH.
