Huskies Advance with 62-52 Win over Nobles in NEPSAC AAA Quarter-Finals

New Hampton delivered a perfect 14-for-14 performance from the free-throw line to hold off Nobles in today’s NEPSAC AAA Quarterfinal matchup. The Huskies held a slim 56–52 lead with just under a minute remaining before Elyse Ngenda, Chloe Dix, and Saige DeJesus calmly knocked down all six free throws down the stretch to secure the 62–52 victory.

With the win, New Hampton advances to the semifinal round where they will face top-seeded Tilton on the road on Saturday.

The Huskies controlled the glass throughout the contest, finishing with 15 offensive rebounds and 20 defensive boards. Kailey Sullivan grabbed six rebounds, while Dix and DeJesus pulled down five apiece.

Serenity Lancaster turned in a strong all-around performance with 15 points (7-for-11 from the field), nine rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Elyse Ngenda added 14 points, while Ava Perry chipped in 13, including six crucial points early in the first quarter to spark the Huskies. Dix and DeJesus each finished with eight points, giving New Hampton a balanced offensive attack.
