Huskies Win Big on Senior Night
New Hampton honored their seniors on Wednesday night, with Bruce Fa and Charlie Kaikow getting the start for New Hampton.
After a few minutes of trading baskets, New Hampton broke open their first lead of the game on three-pointers by Jett Sizer and Ryder Brainis. Once again, the defense was solid, forcing Hebron into tough pull-up jumpers.
Everyone contributed in this game, with both Bruce Fa and Charie Kaikow scoring on their honorary night. In the second half, Henry Timbrell and Beau Millar were able to cut through the Lumberjack defense for easy layups.
Jett Sizer and Ryder Brainis both scored in double figures, and Jasper Bias-Derry had a thunderous dunk on a late fast break that got the crowd into it.
In the end, New Hampton walked away with an 83-36 victory. New Hampton moves to 4-1 in the MAISAD, and now heads to Brewster Academy for a rematch on Saturday.
