Huskies Outworked by Governor's
New Hampton School hosted Governor's Academy and lost 5-3.
After a scoreless first period that saw the Huskies control much of the play, the second and third periods did not go in favor of the Huskies. Governor's outworked and outplayed the Huskies in the final 36 minutes to secure the win.
New Hampton saw goals from George Kavanaugh '26 (assisted by Gavin Burley '27 and Phil Groeling '29), Jake Cabral '27 (assisted by Ollie Quong '27 and Dylan Podergois '26), and Johnny Niemela '26 (assisted by Harry Rubin '26 and Keegan Hunt '27). Goaltender Sam Zygulski '26 made 29 saves in the loss.
