Final Second Goal Propels Huskies Past Elite Hockey Academy
New Hampton faced Elite Hockey Academy at the Brooks-Pingree Tournament and won 4-3 with the game winning goal coming in the final seconds.
Dylan Podergois '26 started the scoring off in the first period (assisted by Matt Homer '26) and then Michael Ronan '27 scored the next two goals. George Kavanaugh '26 and Ray MacDougall '26 picked up assists on Ronan's first and Jake Cabral '27 and MacDougall '26 picked up assists on Ronan's second. Gavin Burley '27 scored with three seconds remaining in the game to win it for the Huskies. Michael Ronan '27 and Harry Rubin '26 picked up assists.
New Hampton goaltender Drew Johnson '26 made some key saves in the victory.
