For our final match of the season, the Huskies hosted Kimball Union Academy for our annual Kimball Union Play Day— a full day (and night) of athletic competition on campus. We capped the day as the final event before the Men's Varsity A Basketball home opener, taking the field under the lights on Kennedy Turf Field in front of an energized New Hampton crowd.
It was an electric atmosphere and a fitting stage for our last performance of the year. Our boys rose to the occasion, playing with heart, discipline, and pride against a KUA team that has won New England championships in recent years. Although the match finished 3–0 in KUA's favor, the scoreline does not tell the full story. We showed how far we have come — moving the ball with confidence, defending with intensity, and demonstrating the growth, maturity, and tactical understanding we developed throughout the season.
This is a young group with tremendous potential, and the future of the program is bright. But we will deeply miss our seniors: Jackson, Patrick, Tyler, Tosin, Tomás, and our captains Griffin and Noah. Their leadership, character, and love for this program have set a powerful foundation for the next generation of Huskies to build on.
