The Tilton Race is canceled due to weather

The Huskies were refreshed after the long weekend and ready to run. The sun peeked out of the clouds on our ride over to Franklin Falls, where the Tilton competition was held, but during the course walk, the wind picked up, and rain and hail pelted down on us. Ultimately, the race was canceled due to the threat of thunder and lightning. New Hampton runners were disappointed that they did not get a chance to compete, but we understand that safety comes first. We are looking forward to the Lakes Region Championship meet at Holderness next Wednesday!
