New Hampton Football Falls To Austin Prep 21-14

The Huskies traveled to Reading, MA, to play Austin Prep. New Hampton never really found a rhythm in the game, and penalties and turnovers plagued the offense and aided Austin Prep's 3 touchdowns. Seamus McIntyre hit two field goals over 40 yards and QB Chase Courtemanche found Wyatt Buhrman for a 35-yard TD in the 4th quarter. The final score was 14 - 21. The defense was led by Seamus McIntyre and Dante Tordiglione. Chase Courtemanche led the offense with 120 rushing yards. The Huskies return to Kennedy Field this Saturday to take on Canterbury School.
