Huskies Fall to Hebron

Coach Smith
Hebron comes from behind to beat New Hampton.
A frigid, soggy contest was decided by a second half Hebron goal, completing their comback victory.

New Hampton went up 1-0 off a beautiful goal from Dom Thomas in the 22nd. Victor Picanco controlled the ball in the midfield and played a perfectly weighted through ball to a streaking Thomas who controlled the ball with his first touch and chipped over the keeper with his second.

Hebron equalized several minutes later. A hard low shot through traffic proved too much for keeper Henrik Barbin who was able to get hands to it, but the deflefction fell kindly to Hebron who put away from close range.

Hebron's winning goal came shortly after half time. A scramble in front of the Husky net and several missed clearance opportunities gave Hebron the chance they needed as the ball was eventually lofted over goalie Alex Terry from the top of the box.
