Although tennis is primarily an individual sport, the women's squad works hard to create a team-like atmosphere. We emphasize the importance of teamwork in both practices and matches as players can be heard cheering on their teammates during their own matches.
In the off-season, many of the girls play in USTA tournaments to hone their skill for the upcoming spring season. For many of the players, tennis is their main sport and a few have gone on to play at the college level, including St. Lawrence, Colby-Sawyer, and Trinity College. We look forward to another successful season and are looking to clinch the top spot in the Lakes Region.
