Godwin Snags Third Win of Season at Sunapee

In a Lakes Region League slalom hosted by KUA at Mount Sunapee, senior Zach Godwin took home the top spot for the third time in four races, this time narrowly edging racers from Brewster and KUA. Freshman Leopold Brennecke was the only other male finisher for the Huskies, placing 19th. Senior Jack Kim DNFed on second run and three other racers were sidelined with illness. On the girls side, sophomores Katschi Aumueller led the team in 11th place with teammate Marta Balasch right behind in 12th. Next up for the ski team is the Lakes Region League Championship slalom held at Proctor.
