A strong Holderness team nearly sweeps NHS at Canterbury Woods.
The NHS Golf team faced a very competitive Holderness team yesterday in their second match of the season at Canterbury Woods. Low temperatures and strong winds proved to be a difficult challenge for both teams. Andrew Corapi was the only golfer on the NHS team able to squeeze out 1/2 a point from his match. Other than that, the Holderness team swept NHS in all the other matches. Holderness looks to be the team to beat this year so far in the Lakes Region, but it is still early in the season. Our team looks forward to playing both Tilton at Lochmere this Friday and Vermont Academy at Laconia this Saturday for our first official home match.
