In a rematch from earlier in the season, New Hampton hosted Proctor Academy, dropping a hard fought game, 0-2. Freshman Sheighla Wall made her debut in the net for the Huskies in place of injured starting keeper Alisha Gilbert. New Hampton was energized early on in the game, sparked by the vocal play of captain Jackie Mazur at sweeper and the aggressiveness of Erin Moran at central midfield. New Hampton had several excellent opportunities on goal in the first half off lofty corner kicks from Mazur. Down 0-1 in the second half, New Hampton poured on the pressure, especially up the left side with great teamwork and passing between freshmen Julia Lanni and Emily Cuthbertson. Proctor scored a late goal to make it 2-0, taking nothing away from the tremendous effort and determination by New Hampton to play a more physical brand of soccer.
