JV Boys come together at Brewster

Today the New Hampton School's JV squad showed Brewster we were there to play lacrosse. Right from the start of the game we capitalized on ground balls and worked together as a team. We moved the ball around the field superbly and within the first 5 minutes of the game we were ahead 5-0. Tyler Wason,  Ollie Long, Eric Hanover,  Moseley Taylor and Nick Wright all put one in the net. Mike Hutchinson had two unassisted end to end goals as a long pole defender. Will Califf tallied three and assists came from all over the roster. The boys really played well and Brewster was shocked. Roy Kim, Tristan Comb, Raymond Boly and Mike Hutchinson all played well. We were patient with the ball and forced Brewster to take outside shots. Cj Santora had an amazing game in net saving 20 shots and missing only three. Our ability to scoop ground balls was terrific and by the end of the game we had 28. Overall, it was an exciting game to watch and the boys really proved to us that when they play as a team they can be awesome. As we look forward to our next game against KUA on Wednesday it is obvious that this team has the potential to do great work when they do their job and work as a group. Excellent work, guys!
