Huskies Defeats Phillips Exeter!

AJ Helms
The Huskies improved their record to 6-1 after beating Class A Phillips Exeter for the first time in school history. The game was pretty even, with both sides getting good opportunities to score. Luke Horton made a few big saves to keep the Huskies in the game. Sammy Demerling and Jimmy Casadona did an outstanding job on their forwards to keep them from getting the ball and taking it to goal. Midfielders Fabio Barbosa, Jonathan Peterson and Will Burke also perfomed well by creating opportunities for Ben Brewster who had a goal on a PK (2nd of season) giving him 11 total on the season and an assist. Jonathan Peterson scored his 3rd goal of the season. Captain Matt McFadden and Nate MacLellan were injured, but the Husky bench stepped up to the challenge and performed admirably. Ji Hoon Shim played a fantastic game.
