The New Hampton School boys’ hockey team lost to defending Division II champion Hebron Academy on Saturday, 2-1. The teams skated through a scoreless first period. Hebron drew first blood in the second period before New George Jenkins (Natick, MA) put the Huskies on the board with a power play goal off a pass from Sammy Demerling (Stony Creek, ONT) and Ryan Fitzpatrick (Mission Viejo, CA). Hebron responded with the go-ahead goal less than a minute later, however. Despite a flurry of goals, New Hampton was unable to pull even with Hebron in the third period.
