Huskies Win Big Against Tilton in Our Last Match of the Season

The Huskies traveled to Tilton for the last match of the season. In singles, we performed very well. All six of our singles players won their match, including: Caroline Thomas, Sol Andersen, Paula Riemann, Helen Xu, Mira Omur, and Isa Seefeld. Jessie Jiang also won an exhibition match, which was impressive since she played Tilton’s number five player. As a result of our success in singles, I was able to give our reserve players some experience in doubles. Paula and Olivia Milberg played very well at first doubles but lost a close match to Tilton’s number one and two players. Avery Morris and Joselyn Smith filled in at second doubles and played amazingly well, winning 8-4. This match against Tilton was a great ending to a wet but wonderful season. I could not hope for a nicer group of young women to coach. Special thanks to our seniors, Caroline, Sol, Mira, Isa, Tara Sikora, Alisa Koroleva, and Jocelyn Fan. They will be hard to replace, but with the improvement I have seen in our underclass players, I look forward to another winning season next year.
