New Hampton Advances to 6-1 in NEPSAC AAA
New Hampton, NH - New Hampton advanced to 6-1 in NEPSAC AAA play and 16-4 overall with a 78-48 home victory over Bridgton Academy in front of a raucous crowd.
The Huskies used a disciplined brand of basketball to take an early lead and never looked back. The Huskies won the battle of the boards and outrebounded the visiting Wolverines 39-16.
New Hampton had standout performances from Central Michigan commit David Dileo (Iowa City, IA) who finihsed with 17 points on 6-8 shooting and Kimani Lawrence (Providence, RI) who finished with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Anthony Gaines (Kingsto, NY) finished with 9 rebounds and Taylor Bennett (Denver, CO) played well off the bench.
The Huskies will travel down to Rhode Island College and the National Prep Showcase on Friday where they face South Kent School at 6pm.
