Huskies Cruise Past Brewster

WOLFEBORO, NH -

The huskies took a trip over to Brewster academy for a Lakes' Region matchup. Brewster wanted redemption on their senior night for their previous 4-2 loss at New Hampton. However, the huskies came out strong and Izzy Prentiss '24 scored on the first shot of the game with a powerful shot from the point. Shortly after Emma MacPherson '27 added to the husky lead to make it 2-0 going into the second. The huskies continued to dominate Brewster in the offensive zone. Kennedy Walker '25 added to the husky lead, making it 3-0 going into the third. Goaltender Vera Lee '24 continued to keep Brewster off the board to maintain her goalless streak. The huskies scorers came alive in the third, scoring 4 goals from Kelsey Baker '26, Reagan Comora '25, Caroline Thomas '25, and Izzy Prentiss '24. Caroline and Izzy both had two goals on the night, helping the huskies to a dominant 7-0 win. Goaltender Cara Kuczek '26 got some time early into third period, and kept Brewster off the board for the huskies second consecutive combine shutout. Great team win! On Wednesday, the huskies are back on the road for their final regular season game against Lakes' Region rival KUA.
