Huskies Defeat Rams

The New Hampton Huskies matched up with the Tilton Rams on Saturday. Before the game, New Hampton honored their Senior Captain, Joey Greco. The game kicked off with an early goal from Griffin Taylor, setting the tone for the Huskies' dominance. However, the Tilton Rams quickly responded with a goal of their own, leveling the score at 1-1 by the end of the first period. In the second period, the Huskies surged ahead as Chase Fitch found the back of the net, reclaiming the lead for New Hampton with a score of 2-1. The team's offensive pressure continued to mount, keeping the Rams on their heels. Fitch and Taylor would each score again making it 4-1 NHS by the end of the second. The third period saw Griffin Taylor extend the Huskies' lead with another goal, showcasing his offensive prowess. Taylor wasn't done yet, as he found the back of the net once more, securing his third goal of the game, making it 5-1 Huskies. Joey Greco played a pivotal role for the Huskies, contributing two great assists that helped fuel the team's offensive momentum.
