Huskies Skate to Another Tie

BROOKLINE, MA - 

The huskies were back on the road to Boston to face off against Dexter in a NEPSAC matchup. Both teams started off strong, with the huskies dominating Dexter in possession. The huskies had their fair share of chances, but, again, struggled to finish. The huskies thought they scored when True Thompson '25 hit two posts, but Dexter was able to scoop the puck out before it crossed the line. However, Emma MacPherson '27 officially opened up the scoring with a rebound in front to give the huskies a 1-0 lead. Vera Lee '24 kept Dexter off the board to maintain the husky lead going into the second. Both teams, again, started off the period strong. Both teams had their fair share of chances, however a lapse in the husky D-zone cost them their lead, allowing Dexter to tie the game at 1. The huskies came alive a little bit more after the Dexter goal and had some grade A chances, however the Dexter goaltender made some big saves to keep the game at 1 at the end of the second. Dexter came out really strong in the third but the huskies held them off to keep the game tied. The huskies had some chances in the third, but Dexter definitely came at them hard. Vera Lee '24 made some big time saves to keep the game tied going into overtime. Overtime continued to be back and forth, but not team could capitalize. Game ended in a 1-1 tie after OT.
