New Hampton Win Over Proctor

After a good showing on Friday against Hillside, the Huskies were back at it on Saturday afternoon. The game started even with back-and-forth play, up and down the ice. The first goal of the game came from Jacob Resnick. The battle for the next goal would continue until the third period when Cooper Simmons tipped a shot from Joe Greco, beating the Proctor goalie and giving the Huskies the 2-0 lead. Not wasting any time, Jacob Resnick would get his second goal of the game just a few seconds later, bringing the score to 3-0 in favor of New Hampton. In the last seconds of the game, Proctor would get one goal back on a deflection from point. Hurst Tasha was in the net for the Huskies today, turning away solid Proctor chances, and giving his team the opportunity for a win. Next up, Hillside on Friday.
