Huskies Rally Back to Beat Holderness 3-2

HOLDERNESS, NH - 

The huskies took a short trip down to face off against Holderness in a Lakes Region matchup. Holderness proved to be a physical team that came at the huskies hard. The huskies played well, dominating the offensive zone, but could not capitalize on their opportunities. The Holderness goaltender played well and battled to  keep the puck out of the net. Huskies goaltender Cara Kuczek '26 played well, keeping Holderness off the board for the first period, keeping the score at 0-0 heading into the second. Both teams started the second off strong. Caroline Thomas '25 solved the Holderness goalie and opened the scoring for the huskies with a pretty goal from in front. However, Holderness went on the power play shortly after the huskies go ahead goal, and tied the game at 1-1. Holderness came out strong in the third, getting a quick goal to take take the lead 2-1.  The huskies battled back, however, and Kelsey Baker '26 tied the game off a rebound. A few minutes later, Julia Loughlin '24 scored the go ahead goal for the huskies, bringing the score to 3-2. The huskies held on to stay ahead, and won the game. A hard fought Lakes Region battle!
