Huskies Tie Tabor
MARION, MA -
The huskies traveled down to Marion, MA to face off against a strong NEPSAC opponent, Tabor Academy. Both teams started off strong, but penalties continued to be the huskies crutch. Tabor capitalized on their power play, earning a 1-0 lead. Goaltender Vera Lee '24 played well to keep Tabor off the board, and the huskies in the game. Kennedy Walker '25 put the huskies on her back as she tied the game 1-1, and also scored the go ahead goal with 5 minutes left to play. The huskies kept the lead until they were called for a penalty, allowing Tabor to tie the game with 30 seconds left. Overtime was back and forth, and Vera Lee '24 continued to play well to keep the huskies in the game. Another penalty in overtime cost the huskies offensive zone time, but the game ended as a 2-2 tie.
